Are you coming to a conference in Paris and would like a getaway side trip? Stay in Paris a few extra nights to explore the magic of this most interesting and vibrant capital and city of light?

The Eiffel Tower, museums, art galleries, the River Seine and the booksellers, the beautiful bridges, the little street Paris squares ---, Montmartre with its' artists, Sacre Coeur and its views,  the Champs Elysees , the Opera, the Louvre,  the Place de la Concorde -- the list is never ending!!

Do a quick side trip to Normandy and the Loire Valley afterwards? Perhaps another area?

Take the train or drive to Normandy - visit the beautiful quaint little town of Honfleur with its beamed buildings and cobbled streets. Discover why it was an inspiration to so many artists such as Claude Monet.

 Browse through the tiny streets, see the many artists shops and galleries, walk round the Old Port or sit and browse to have a coffee there.

 Stay in a lovely little cosy hotel not far from the famous port and have dinner not far away in one of the several good little restaurants.

Maybe do a day trip to Bayeux and see the world famous Bayeux Tapestry. Visit some of the landing beaches and visit some of the war graves and Normandy Battlefields. Drive through quaint little villages with cobbled streets and lots of flowers ---maybe visit a little workshop where they make local lace?

Do a trip to Caen and see the Memorial?
